I’m starting to envision a world in which hiring men is seen as a risky move. Where their disproportional tendency to violence, to assault and harassment, is seen as a problem rather than a given. Where men’s aggression and entitlement are understood to pose a financial and reputational risk to their companies. Where hiring a woman—even if, yes, she may someday take a few months off to raise an infant—is seen as the safer choice.
I like the view from here.
